Did Gautama Buddha eat Meat ???

Did Buddha eat meat? What would you wish the truth should be !!!!!!

After I posted the last article I received a response from one of my dear ones stating that Buddha ate pork. So did Buddha really eat pork??? Well, but what this has to do with you or me? Don't we have some sense of compassion if not some common sense to understand that killing animals for food is cruel and insane. Yes, we do have, its just that we cannot accept it. You are so much lost in a maya of pleasure of eating the dead. I wonder why people take an example to counter something that is said for the well being of other lifeforms and become so selfish. Does Bible say all the animals on earth are made for you to fill your stomach. No it is never said.

These life forms are all made for us. And it is true. But not to kill and eat them. Animals has always been a great friend of human being. Be it the dog, donkey, horse, the birds, the worms inside the earth. It is to be noted that in Islam there is a theory where Mohammed hated Dogs and he said dogs are to be killed. Do you really agree to this?

Its only in Islam where it says in particular that these innocent animals are for humans to eat which is a complete non-sense. Here is another set of versus taken from Koran after reading to which you can never admit that Koran is hundred percent correct and hence it was just written by a human leader :-

The moon is further away than stars! quran 71;15/16 "moon in the midst of 7 heavens" 37;6 "stars in the lower/nearest heaven" This is false, The moon is the nearest natural object to us, so is NOT in the midst of stars stars are much further away or here is some more miracles of god;

Quran 65;12 - theres supposedly 7 planets. I thought our solar system has 8 planets plus 4 dwarf planets ? 8 + 4 = 12

Quran 86;7 "semen comes from the backbone and ribs"  It comes from the testicles

Quran 51;49 "everything created in pairs" asexuals?

Quran 11;5 "thoughts of the breast (heart)" brain?

Quran 67;5 stars are 'missiles to drive away devils' no comment

24;43 hail comes from moutains

Quran 21: 33 "And the Sun and Moon; both of them float along in its orbit" This clearly implies the sun goes around the earth

Quran 91;2 "the moon follows the sun" This is false, the moon has its own orbit

Quran 76;13 "moon has excessive cold" The moon doesn't radiate any coldness.

Quran 71:16 "placed the moon as a light" The moon has no light. the word reflected (in`ikaas) does not appear in this sentence.

Quran 18;86 "sun sets in a muddy pool" That's impossible

Quran 36;38 "sun runs to a fixed resting place" This is false, the sun doesn't rest anywhere. it stays on its own axis. only a geocentric flat earth could assume this. Sahih Bukhari 4;421 adds "the sun remains under god's throne until its allowed rise again in the east"

Quran 86;6 "man created from a drop emitted" This is false. the quran is ignorant of the female role with her egg.

Quran 21;30 "heaven n earth used to be joined together before the big bang"  The earth did not exist before the big bang

Quran 96:2 "Created man, out of a mere clot" A blood clot cannot grow into life

Quran 2;125 "muslims are protected in mecca" this is false, Juhayman al-Otaybi, Abd-Allah ibn al-Zubayr, and abu Tahir al-Janabi killed thousands of muslim pilgrims without intervention of "baked stones" Here it also to be noted that Mohammed was partial. What about the non-muslims? Aren't they humans?  plus there have been natural disasters.

Quran 7;54 the sun is not a star which is false. the sun is also a star.

Quran 7:189 Humans created from a single man. This contradicts evolution

Quran 15:26 humans created from clay. This contradicts evolution as humans evolved over millions of years from simpler life forms.

Quran 13;2 "earth has invisible pillars keeping up the heavens." This is false. gravity is the answer.

Quran 50:38 "earth created in 6 days" This is false, earth took billions of years to form.

Quran 11;40 "load onto a boat 1 pair of each animal species" This is false, there's millions of land animals, there's no way 1 man can catch them all to fit on a boat.

Quran, 5:96 "Anything you catch in the sea is lawful for you, and all food from it, for your enjoyment" This is false. many sea creatures are deadly for example the puffer fish? poison dart frog? marbled cone snail? blue ringed octopus? stonefish?

Quran, 2:173 "He has only forbidden you carrion, blood and pork" Is god irresponsible or foolish? can we eat poisonous animals like box jelly fish? gila monster? centipede? coral? monksheed? jimson weed? all deadly venomous can you eat guinea worm?

Quran 37;10 meteors are projectiles aimed at devils. This is false. they are simply masses of particle debris which brightens after entering the earths atmosphere.

Quran 37;142 human survives after being swallowed by a fish.

Quran 38;36 humans can fly.

Quran 27;16 birds can speak "1 of the wings of a house fly has cure for disease" Sahih Bukhari 4:54:537 this is false, wings of flies have no cures whatsoever.

Quran 2;22 "earth a couch"

Qur'an 20:53 "earth a cradle"

Quran 78;6 "earth a bed" and Earth's shape is NOT a flat plane. why not describe earth as a ball?

Qur'an 2:22 "the sky a dome" This is false, the sky is not shaped like a dome. a dome has a base so this assumes a flat earth

Quran 20;106 without mountains the earth is level sounds flat.

Quran 15:19 "And the earth We have spread out like a carpet, set thereon Mountains firm and immovable" 1st this extension sounds flat. a better metaphor for a round earth is a ball 2nd mountains don't prevent earthquakes

Quran 2: 29 "created earth, THEN the heavens" This is false, astronomy today tells us earth was formed later in the cosmos

Qur'an 53: 49 "the Lord of Sirius" (singular form) this is false, the star sirius is a double star.

Quran 55:33 humans wont go into space without gods consent. This is false. dozens of non-theists went into space without leave or permission from god.

Quran 40;57 "The creation of the earth is even more awesome than the creation of the human being" God purposefully designed a system that ensures the suffering and death of all his creatures, parasite and host, predator and prey.

Quran 23:14 "clothed the bones in flesh" This is false, bones are not formed before flesh. it's formed simultaneously.

Quran 67:3 there are no gaps or discrepencies in the universe. This is false, black holes are regions of space from which nothing, including light, can escape.

Bukhari 5;58;188 monkeys committ adultery.

Bukhari 4;54;527 killing a white striped snake prevents miscarriages.

Bukhari 2;4;234 camel urine is a medicine.

Quran 34;9 the universe is made of solid material you can rip a piece out of.

Quran 6;38 "all animals live in communities" This is false, some animals are solitary loners like leopards or jaguars.

Quran, 21:32 "We made the sky a preserved and protected roof "  If this was true then how did the dinosaurs go extinct by a huge asteroid? the sky isn't concrete.

If you accept that all these are false why cant you accept that the concept killing and eating animals is false?

Dr. Zakir Naik says that we have canine teeth which proves  that humans are allowed to eat meat. He is an idiot to bring this as a claim and reason for killing animals. He failed to realize that there are many veggies which requires the use of canine teeth, the best example is sugar cane. And moreover humans use their teeth not only for chewing food, they can also use it as a tool. As a counter to Indian belief of vegetarianism Dr. Zakir Naik also claims that even plants has pain when they are cut. This is again a misconception. Though plants has life, they does not have pain while plucking its fruits. And you need not be a doctor to understand that anything which can feel physical pain has a reflex action.

Camels have been a part of the Arabic world. They were friends to humans from the time man came on earth. The camel spends the entire life time with his master. He respects his master. DOES HE RESPECT THIS INNOCENT POOR ANIMAL? Watch the video which is the most decent one found in You Tube. The others where extremely horrific. Remember so is the story of our cows and other animals. I request the readers not to be a part of this cruelty and become proud vegetarians.

Vedas Do Not Promote Humans to eat Meat !

A large number of allegations have been coming from all corners claiming Vedas to support meat-eating and even cannibalism! Nothing can be far from true.

I'm presenting here a very useful text which would suffice to silence all promoters of such false propaganda. This book along with the article No Beef in Vedas contains all necessary evidences to showcase Vedas as a text that appeals for protection of all living beings. I request all readers to review and circulate these researches for mass consumption. If PETA can review the Vedas, they would no more need to appeal to glamor of vulgar nude models to promote compassion for animal!

Further I appeal all to shun a practice that is brutal, extremely harmful to environment, causes poverty and hunger in world, bad for health and longevity and lowers us from status of being humans. Just as we would not like ourselves, our children and even old parents to be killed for someone’s taste of tongue, similarly we should refuse to kill other innocent living beings. The way we refuse to eat dead bodies of human beings, we should also not feast on dead bodies of other living beings who have eyes, nose, face, brain like us. Who feel pain and pleasure like us. Who feel the same fear and weep in similar manner like we do when nearing our own death. Law of Karma ensures that if we kill today, we would face the killing tomorrow. The only way to escape this is by being kind and compassionate.

The material presented here is based on a thorough and objective analysis of roots of Vedic words, the context in which they appear, Vedic Vocabulary, Philology, Grammar and other tools critical for correct interpretation of the Vedic mantras. Thus this research series does not merely rely on blind reproduction of works of Max Muller, Griffith, Wilson, Williams and other indologists on Vedas and Vedic language. While they are more popular in contemporary western academia, we have objective reasons to conclude that their works are far from authoritative. I shall explore this facet in more detail in this research series.

Welcome to this first part of the research series on critical evaluation of Misconceptions surrounding the Vedas – the first books of knowledge on earth.

For centuries aspersions have been cast upon the Vedas; the primary holy scriptures of the Hindus of having unholy contents. If one really started believing in those aspersions, the entire Hindu philosophy, culture, and traditions would reduce to nothing but savagery, barbarism and cannibalism.

The Vedas – the very roots of Hinduism, rather the first source of knowledge on earth – are meant for guiding the actions of human being in order to lead a blissful life.

This slanderous campaign has been unleashed by different vested interests to embarrass Hindus around the world citing specific references from the Vedas.

This also comes handy in convincing poor and illiterate Indians to give up their faith on the grounds that their fundamental holy books – the Vedas – contain all the inhuman elements like denigration of women, meat-eating, polygamy, casteism and above all – beef eating.

The Vedas are also accused of animal sacrifice in sacrificial ceremonies popularly known as the YAJNA. Interestingly a section of home-bred intellectuals claiming to have deep study of ancient India has also come up, who cite references from works of western indologists to prove such unholy content in the Vedas.

Saying that the Vedas permit beef-eating and cow-slaughter amounts to striking a lethal blow to a Hindu’s soul. Respect for cow forms a core tenet of Hinduism. Once you are able to convince him of flaws in the foundation of this core tenet and make him feel guilty, he becomes an easy prey for the predator faiths. There are millions of ill-informed Hindus who are not empowered to counter argue and hence quietly surrender.

The vested interests that malign the Vedas are not confined to foreign and home-bred indologists alone. A certain class among Hindus exploited the rest of the population including the socially and economically weaker sections by forcing them to believe and follow what they said in the name of Vedas or else face the wrath.

All the slanders heaped upon the Vedas can be attributed mainly to the interpretations of commentaries written by Mahidhar, Uvat and Saayan in the medieval times; and to what Vam-margis or the Tantra cult propagated in their books in the name of the Vedas.

In due course the falsehood spread far and wide and they became even more deep rooted when western scholars with their half baked knowledge of Sanskrit transliterated these interpretations of commentaries of Sayan and Mahidhar, in the name of translating the Vedas.

However, they lacked the pre-requisite understanding of Shiksha (Phonetics), Vyakarana (Grammar), Nirukta (Philology), Nighantu (Vocabulary), Chhanda (Prosody), Jyotish (Astronomy), Kalpa and so on that are critical for correct interpretation of the Vedas.

Section 1: No violence against animals

Yasmintsarvaani bhutaanyaatmaivaabhuudvijaanatah
Tatra ko mohah kah shokah ekatvamanupasyatah
Yajurveda
40.7

“Those who see all beings as souls do not feel infatuation or anguish at their sight, for they experience oneness with them”.
How could people who believed in the doctrines of indestructibility, transmigration dare to kill living animals in yajnas? They might be seeing the souls of their own near and dear ones of bygone days residing in those living beings.
———————————————
Anumantaa vishasitaa nihantaa krayavikrayee
Samskartaa chopahartaa cha khadakashcheti ghaatakaah
Manusmrith
i
5.51

Those who permit slaying of animals; those who bring animals for slaughter; those who slaughter; those who sell meat; those who purchase meat; those who prepare dish out of it; those who serve that
meat and those who eat are all murderers.
———————————————
Breehimattam yavamattamatho maashamatho tilam
Esha vaam bhaago nihito ratnadheyaaya dantau maa hinsishtam pitaram maataram cha
Atharvaveda
6.140.2

O teeth! You eat rice, you eat barley, you gram and you eat sesame. These cereals are specifically meant for you. Do not kill those who are capable of being fathers and mothers.
——————————————–
Ya aamam maansamadanti paurusheyam cha ye kravih
Garbhaan khaadanti keshavaastaanito naashayaamasi
Atharvaveda
8.6.23

We ought to destroy those who eat cooked as well as uncooked meat, meat involving destruction of males and females, foetus and eggs.
——————————————-
Anago hatya vai bheema kritye
Maa no gaamashvam purusham vadheeh
Atharvaveda
10.1.29

It is definitely a great sin to kill innocents. Do not kill our cows, horses and people.

How could there be justification of cow and other animals being killed when killing is so clearly prohibited in the Vedas?
———————————————
Aghnyaa yajamaanasya pashoonpahi
Yajurveda
1.1

“O human! animals are Aghnya – not to be killed. Protect the animals”
———————————————
Pashunstraayethaam
Yajurveda
6.11

Protect the animals.
———————————————
Dwipaadava Chatushpaatpaahi
Yajurveda
14.8

Protect the bipeds and quadrupeds!
———————————————-
Kravy da –kravya[ meat obtained from slaughter] + Ada [ the eater]—the meat eater.

Pisacha — pisita [meat] +asa [eater]—the meat eater.

AsutrpaAsu [breath of life] + trpa [one who satisfies himself on]—one who takes others life for his meals.

Garba da and Anda da – the foetus and egg eaters.

Mans da – the meat eaters

Meat eaters have always been looked down in Vedic literature. They have been known as Rakshasas, Pisacha and so on….All these words are synonyms of demons or devils that have been out-cast from the civilized human society.
——————————————–
Urjam no dhehi dwipade chatushpade
Yajurveda
11.83

“May all bipeds and quadrupeds gain strength and nourishment”

This mantra is recited by Hindus before every meal. How could the same philosophy which prays for well-being of every soul in every moment of life, approve of killing animals?

Section 2: No violence in Yajna

Yajna never meant animal sacrifice in the sense popularly understood. Yajna in the Vedas meant a noble deed or the highest purifying action.

—————————————–
Adhvara iti Yajnanaama – Dhvaratihimsaakarmaa tatpratishedhah
Nirukta
2.7

According to Yaaska Acharya, one of the synonyms of Yajna in Nirukta or the Vedic philology is Adhvara.

Dhvara means an act with himsa or violence. And therefore a-dhvara means an act involving no himsa or no violence. There are a large number of such usage of Adhvara in the Vedas.
———————————————

In the post-Mahabharata period, misinterpretation of the Vedas and interpolations in other scriptures took place at various points intime. Acharya Shankar reestablished the Vedic values to an extent.

In the more recent times, Swami Dayanand Saraswati – known as the grandfather of modern India – interpreted the Vedas as per thecorrect rules of the language and authentic evidences. His literature, which includes commentary on the Vedas, Satyarth Prakash loosely translated as Light of Truth, An Introduction to the Vedas and other texts led to widespread social reformation based on Vedic philosophy and dispelling of myths surrounding the Vedas.

Let us discover what the Vedas have to say on Yajna.

————————————–
Agne yam yagnamadhvaram vishwatah pari bhuurasi
Sa id deveshu gacchati
Rigveda
1.1.4

O lord of effulgence! The non-violent Yajna, you prescribe from all sides, is beneficial for all, touches divine proportions and is accepted by noble souls.
—————————————-

The Rigveda describes Yajna as Adhvara or non violent throughout. Same is the case with all the other Vedas. How can it be then concluded that the Vedas permit violence or slaughter of animals?

The biggest accusation of cattle and cow slaughter comes in the context of the Yajnas that derived their names from different cattle like the Ashwamedh Yajna, the Gomedha Yajna and the Nar-medh Yajna. Even by the wildest stretch of the imagination the word Medha would not mean slaughter in this context.

It’s interesting to note what Yajurveda says about a horse
——————————————————–
Imam ma himsirekashafam pashum kanikradam vaajinam vaajineshu
Yajurveda
13.48

Do not slaughter this one hoofed animal that neighs and who goes with a speed faster than most of the animals.
———————————————————-

Aswamedha does not mean horse sacrifice at Yajna. Instead the Yajurveda clearly mentions that a horse ought not to be slaughtered.

In Shathapatha, Ashwa is a word for the nation or empire

The word medha does not mean slaughter. It denotes an act done in accordance to the intellect Alternatively it could mean consolidation, as evident from the root meaning of medha i.e. medhru san-ga-me

Raashtram vaa ashwamedhah
Annam hi gau
Agnirvaa ashwah
Aajyam medhah
(Shatpath
13.1.6.3)

Swami Dayananda Saraswati wrote in his Light of Truth:

A Yajna dedicated to the glory, wellbeing and prosperity of the Rashtra the nation or empire is known as the Ashwamedh yajna.

“To keep the food pure or to keep the senses under control, or to make the food pure or to make a good use of the rays of Sun or keep the earth free from impurities[clean] is called Gomedha Yajna”.

“The word Gau also means the Earth and the yajna dedicated to keep the Earth the environment clean is called Gomedha Yajna”

“The cremation of the body of a dead person in accordance with the principles laid down in the Vedas is called Naramedha Yajna”.
———————————————–

Section 3: No beef in Vedas

Not only the Vedas are against animal slaughter but also vehemently oppose and prohibit cow slaughter. Yajurveda forbids killing of cows, for they provide energizing food for human beings

———————————
Ghrtam duhaanaamaditim janaayaagne maa himsiheeh
Yajurveda
13.49

Do not kill cows and bulls who always deserve to be protected.

—————————————-
Aare gohaa nrhaa vadho vo astu
Rigveda
7.56.17

In Rigveda cow slaughter has been declared a heinous crime equivalent to human murder and it has been said that those who commits this crime should be punished.
—————————————–
Sooyavasaad bhagavatee hi bhooyaa atho vayam bhagvantah syaama
Addhi trnamaghnye vishwadaaneem piba shuddhamudakamaacharantee
Rigveda
1.164.40 or Atharv 7.73.11 or Atharv 9.10.20

The Aghnya cows – which are not to be killed under any circumstances– may keep themselves healthy by use of pure water and green grass, so that we may be endowed with virtues, knowledge and wealth.

—————————————
The Vedic Lexicon, Nighantu, gives amongst other synonyms of Gau[ or cow] the words Aghnya. Ahi, and Aditi. Yaska the commentator on Nighantu, defines these as-
Aghnya the one that ought not to be killed
Ahi the one that must not be slaughtered.
Aditi the one that ought not to be cut into pieces.

These three names of cow signify that the animal ought not to be put to tortures. These words appear frequently throughout the Vedas in context of the cow.

——————————————–

Aghnyeyam saa vardhataam mahate soubhagaaya
Rigveda
1.164.27
Cow – The aghnya – brings us health and prosperity

Yajurveda
12.73
The Aghnya cows and bulls bring you prosperity

Maa gaamanaagaamaditim vadhishta
Rigveda
8.101.15
Do not kill the cow. Cow is innocent and aditi – that ought not to be cut into pieces

Antakaaya goghaatam
Yajurveda
30.18
Destroy those who kill cows

Yadi no gaam hansi yadyashwam yadi poorusham
Tam tvaa seesena vidhyaamo yatha no so aveeraha
Atharvaveda
1.16.4
If someone destroys our cows, horses or people, kill him with a bullet of lead.

Vatsam jaatamivaaghnyaa
Atharvaveda
3.30.1
Love each other as the Aghnya – non-killable cow – loves its calf

Dhenu sadanam rayeenaam
Atharvaveda
11.1.34
Cow is fountainhead of all bounties

The entire 28th Sukta or Hymn of 6th Mandal of Rigveda sings the glory of cow.

Aa gaavo agnamannuta bhadramakrantseedantu
Bhooyobhooyo rayimidasya vardhayannabhinne
Na taa nashanti na dabhaati taskaro naasaamamitro vyathiraa dadharshati
Na taa arvaa renukakaato ashnute na samskritramupa yanti taa abhi
Gaavo bhago gaava indro me achhaan
Yooyam gaavo medayathaa
Maa vah stena eeshata maaghanshasah

1. Everyone should ensure that cows are free from miseries and kept healthy.
2. God blesses those who take care of cows.
3. Even the enemies should not use any weapon on cows
4. No one should slaughter the cow
5. Cow brings prosperity and strength

6. If cows keep healthy and happy, men and women shall also keep disease free and prosperous

7. May the cow eat green grass and pure water. May they not be killed and bring prosperity to us.

———————————————-

What more proofs does one need to understand the high esteem in whichnot only the cow but each living being is held in the Vedas.

The learned audience can decide for themselves from these evidences that the Vedas are completely against any inhuman practice… to top it all the Beef and Cow slaughter.
There is no Beef in Vedas.

——————————————

Many time people quote text from the scriptures saying even Vedas Promote Non-vegetarianism.
Ans. Yes Vedas does promote non-vegetarinism but we should understand why does Vedas says such?

The Universe was created & was given 3 modes which are Sattvik/Goodness, Rajas/Passion & Tamas/Ignorance & so people would have Tamas Qualities which would tempt them to feed on Blood due to which few rules were made.

If a person wants to eat Flesh there are rules to be followed.
1) Pet a Goat like a kid, feed him & when he turns old feed on him.
2) Take him far from the house near any Devi maa temple.
3) Can consume meat only once a month at the time of Purnima.
4) While slitting the Goats throat see with a feeling of his own child in that Goats eyes, tears should fall from the eyes of the Butcher.
5) Chant a mantra in his ears "MAMSA" The word Maans/Flesh derived from this mantra "Mamsa" meaning "I GIVE YOU EQUAL RIGHTS TO TAKE MY LIFE IN MY NEXT BIRTH"

So does Vedas really promote Non-vegetarism?
Will the person really chant mamsa & slit the goats throat?

What is Gowmedha, Ashwamedha?
A. Gowmedha - Gow/cow, medha/Sacrifice, Ashwa/Horse, Demi- gods eats Via fire/Ahuti that we do in Yagyas. Animal flesh was been put in fire to please the demigods in Sattyuga, Tretayuga & Dwaparyuga. However this Sacrifice was very mush Sattvik why? Because the mantras the rishis use to recite gave a new life to the slaughterd cow, the cows soul gets a humans body & so this sacrifice was indeed a boon for the upliftment from animals body to a humans body, same in Ashwa medha. And only those cows were been put in fire who had turned old & last stages of death & Ashwa use to travel the entire planet & turn sick & weak later been put into fire.

Why was this been practised even now?
A. It was been practiced in Kaliyuga but the mantras pronounciation was corrupted & so when brahmans added Ashwa/gow in fire they dnt come out in a new form & later they started feeding on them which made Lord Buddha incarnate & stop the teachings of Vedas which was not made for Kaliyuga. Jainism & Buddhism which are 2 atheist teachings spreaded around the Globe, later Lord Adi Sankracharya came in the 1800 BC & spreaded the knowledge of shrimad Bhagwatam, gita etc. The 5th veda for Kaliyuga is only Gita & Shrimad Bhagwatam which is the cream from all Scriptures. However those who practice sacrifical practice untill know lacks knowledge about Sanatan Teachings & in the other hands these are the effects of Kaliyuga

For Kaliyuga sacrifice we got the only option which is Sriphal/Cocunut which is always been busted when we buy something new, Why?
Sriphal = As good as One head sacrifice.

a. The article has given evidence from Manu Smriti itself which states that even one who permits killing is a murderer. Thus all these additional shlokas are either from adulterated Manu Smriti or misinterpreted by twisting of words. I recommend them to read Manu Smriti by Dr Surendra Kumar which is available from http://vedicbooks.com

b. A typical example of foul play by those hell-bent on justifying their obsession with beef in ancient texts, is to translate Mansa as ‘meat’. In reality, ‘Mansa’ is a generic word used to denote pulp. Meat is called ‘Mansa’ because it is pulpy. So mere presence of ‘Mansa’ does not mean it refers to meat.

c. The other texts referred by them are among dubious ones not considered authoritative evidence. Their modus operandi is simple – state anything written in Sanskrit as Dharma and translate the way they want to prove whatever they want. This is how they have been fooling us all by filling our textbooks with all unverified demeaning claims.

d. With regards to Vedas, they could come up with two mantras that supposedly justify beef eating. Let us evaluate them:

Claim: Rigveda (10/85/13) declares, “On the occasion of a girl’s marriage oxen and cows are slaughtered.”
Fact: The mantra states that in winter, the rays of sun get weakened and then get strong again in spring. The word used for sun-rays in ‘Go’ which also means cow and hence the mantra can also be translated by making ‘cow’ and not ‘sun-rays’ as the subject. The word used for ‘weakened’ is ‘Hanyate’ which can also mean killing. But if that be so, why would the mantra go further and state in next line (which is deliberately not translated) that in spring, they start regaining their original form.

How can a cow killed in winter regain its health in spring? This amply proves how ignorant and biased communists malign Vedas.
Claim: Rigveda (6/17/1) states that “Indra used to eat the meat of cow, calf, horse and buffalo.”

Fact: The mantra states that brilliant scholars enlighten the world in the manner that wood enhances the fire of Yajna. I fail to understand from where did Avtar Gill and his friends discover Indra, cow, calf, horse and buffalo in this mantra!

In summary, I challenge everyone – cite one single mantra from Vedas that justify beef-eating and I shall be eager to embrace any faith that he or she may decide for me. If not, they should agree to revert back to the Vedas.

Never Heard of "Hindu" !!!!!

The following is an article I found in book on Indian culture with some adding by me..

The writer is unknown...        The story goes like this..

Four years ago, I was flying from JFK NY Airport to SFO to attend a meeting at Monterey , CA . An American girl was sitting on the right side, near window seat. It indeed was a long journey - it would take nearly seven hours.

I was surprised to see the young girl reading a Bible unusual of young Americans. After some time she smiled and we had few  acquaintances talk. I told her that I am from India.

Then suddenly the girl asked: 'What's your faith?' 'What?' I didn't understand the question.

'I mean, what's your religion? Are you a Christian? Or a Muslim?'

'No!' I replied, 'I am neither Christian nor Muslim'.

Apparently she appeared shocked to listen to that. 'Then who are you?' 'I am a Hindu', I said.

She looked at me as if she was seeing a caged animal. She could not understand what I was talking about.

A common man in Europe or US knows about Christianity and Islam, as they are the leading religions of the world today. But a Hindu, what?

I explained to her - I am born to a Hindu father and Hindu mother. Therefore, I am a Hindu by birth.

'Who is your prophet?' she asked.

'We don't have a prophet,' I replied.

'What's your Holy Book?'

'We don't have a single Holy Book, but we have hundreds and thousands of philosophical and sacred scriptures,' I replied.

'Oh, come on at least tell me who is your God?'

'What do you mean by that?'

'Like we have Jesus and Muslims have Allah - don't you have a God?'

I thought for a moment. Muslims and Christians believe one God (Male God) who created the world and takes an interest in the humans who inhabit it. Her mind is conditioned with that kind of belief.

According to her (or anybody who doesn't know about Hinduism), a religion needs to have one Prophet, one Holy book and one God. The mind is so conditioned and rigidly narrowed down to such a notion that anything else is not acceptable. I understood her perception and concept about faith. You can't compare Hinduism with any of the present leading religions where you have to believe in a concept.

I tried to explain to her: 'You can believe in one god and he can be a Hindu. You may believe in multiple deities and still you can be a Hindu. What's more - you may not believe in god at all, still you can be a Hindu. An atheist can also be a Hindu.'

This sounded very crazy to her. She couldn't imagine a religion so unorganized, still surviving for thousands of years, even after onslaught from foreign forces.

'I don't understand but it seems very interesting. Are you religious?'
What can I tell to this American girl?

I said: 'I do not go to temple regularly. I do not make any regular rituals. I have learned some of the rituals in my younger days. I still enjoy doing it sometimes..'

'Enjoy? Are you not afraid of God?'

'God is a friend. No- I am not afraid of God. Nobody has made any compulsions on me to perform these rituals regularly.'

She thought for a while and then asked: 'Have you ever thought of converting to any other religion?'

'Why should I? Even if I challenge some of the rituals and faith in Hinduism, nobody can convert me from Hinduism. Because, being a Hindu allows me to think independently and objectively, without conditioning. I remain as a Hindu never by force, but choice.' I told her that Hinduism is not a religion, but a set of beliefs and practices. It is not a religion like Christianity or Islam because it is not founded by any one person or does not have an organized controlling body like the Church or the Order, I added. There is no institution or authority. And so are other 'religions' formed in India like Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism which are all not really religions but practices which does not have any boundaries.

'So, you don't believe in God?' she wanted everything in black and white.

'I didn't say that. I do not discard the divine reality. Our scripture, or Sruthis or Smrithis - Vedas and Upanishads or the Gita - say God might be there or he might not be there. But we pray to that supreme abstract authority (Para Brahma) that is the creator of this universe.'

'Why can't you believe in one personal God?'

'We have a concept - abstract - not a personal god. The concept or notion of a personal God, hiding behind the clouds of secrecy, telling us irrational stories through few men whom he sends as messengers, demanding us to worship him or punish us, does not make sense. I don't think that God is as silly as an autocratic emperor who wants others to respect him or fear him.' I told her that such notions are just fancies of less educated human imagination and fallacies, adding that generally ethnic religious practitioners in Hinduism believe in personal gods. The entry level Hinduism has over-whelming superstitions too. The philosophical side of Hinduism negates all superstitions.

'Good that you agree God might exist. You told that you pray. What is your prayer then?'

'Loka Samastha Sukino Bhavantu. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti,'

'Funny,' she laughed, 'What does it mean?'

'May all the beings in all the worlds be happy. Om Peace, Peace, Peace.'

'Hmm ..very interesting. I want to learn more about this religion. It is so democratic, broad-minded and free' she exclaimed.

'The fact is Hinduism is a religion of the individual, for the individual and by the individual with its roots in the Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita. It is all about an individual approaching a personal God in an individual way according to his temperament and inner evolution - it is as simple as that.'

'How does anybody convert to Hinduism?'

'Nobody can convert you to Hinduism, because it is not a religion, but a set of beliefs and practices. Everything is acceptable in Hinduism because there is no single authority or organization either to accept it or to reject it or to oppose it on behalf of Hinduism.'

I told her - if you look for meaning in life, don't look for it in religions; don't go from one cult to another or from one guru to the next.

For a real seeker, I told her, the Bible itself gives guidelines when it says ' Kingdom of God is within you.' I reminded her of Christ's teaching about the love that we have for each other. That is where you can find the meaning of life.

Loving each and every creation of the God is absolute and real. 'Isavasyam idam sarvam' Isam (the God) is present (inhabits) here everywhere - nothing exists separate from the God, because God is present everywhere. Respect every living being and non-living things as God. That's what Hinduism teaches you.

Hinduism is referred to as Sanathana Dharma, the eternal faith. It is based on the practice of Dharma, the code of life. The most important aspect of Hinduism is being truthful to oneself. Hinduism has no monopoly on ideas.- It is open to all. Hindus believe in one God (not a personal one) expressed in different forms. For them, God is timeless and formless entity.

Ancestors of today's Hindus believe in eternal truths and cosmic laws and these truths are opened to anyone who seeks them. But there is a section of Hindus who are either superstitious or turned fanatic to make this an organized religion like others. The British coin the word 'Hindu' and considered it as a religion.

I said: 'Religions have become an MLM (multi-level- marketing) industry that has been trying to expand the market share by conversion. The biggest business in today's world is Spirituality. Hinduism is an exception'

I am a Hindu primarily because it professes Non-violence - 'Ahimsa Paramo Dharma' - Non violence is the highest duty. I am a Hindu because it doesn't conditions my mind with any faith system.
A man/ woman who change 's his/her birth religion to another religion is a fake and does not value his/her morals, culture and  values in life. Hinduism was the first religion originated. Be proud of your religion and be proud of who you are.

Very Interesting facts about other Religions as compared to Hinduism...

Why I favor the brutal murder of Osama Bin Laden...

I'm writing this article in context to the thousands of life that has been deserted IN THE NAME of a  religion called Islam, I did not say BY ISLAM.

There is a saying, "Actions speak louder than words."  If the nature of Islam is not sufficiently clear from the words of the Koran its nature should be abundantly clear from the shocking, outrageous crimes of violence, brutality and mass murder that its adherents are perpetrating against non-Muslims all over the world. Whether we are speaking of ugly terrorist acts in Israel, Russia, India, the United States or somewhere else in the non-Muslim world the Muslim distinguishes himself by his shocking lack of conscience and humanity in horrible crimes of violence.  And, what is even more shocking, he justifies his horrible acts in the name of God and religion.  In this way Islam stands alone among the major religions of the world.  No other religion on earth has the violent nature of Islam, no other religion is so consumed with hatred against other religions. According to the Islamic outlook, the only good and righteous government is an Islamic government and all other governments are evil and should be overthrown.  All non-Muslims are infidels, idolaters who should be destroyed without pity. Whatever the Muslims may say, the real reason for the Muslim hatred of non-Muslims is just simply religious bias.  It is pure religious bigotry.  The Muslim speaks of justice.  But, in fact, his vision is distorted and warped by his own bias and hatred.  He has his own version of justice.

I have been greatly moved after I witnessed the Mosques that has been constructed over the temples in Karnataka, I could only wish if someone was there to fight against Islamic terror spread across the holy land of India destroying the life and religious sentiments of sadhu Hindus. Today when I read about Osama's activities in favor of Islam and so many muslims who supports it I start created a feeling of hatred and pity towards the so called Islam.

Osama Bin Laden founded Al-Qaeda to end military presence in the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula, overthrowing Arab regimes he considers corrupt and insufficiently religious, ending American support for Israel and RETURNING EAST TIMOR AND KASHMIR TO MUSLIM RULE.

Just like Al-Queda there are other muslim organizations like, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen, In Afghanistan, Taliban and Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin forces, Hezbollah, Fatah al-Islam, Armed Islamic Group, Abu Sayyaf Group.

Taj Mahal: An Epic Manipulated (Part-3)

Photographic Evidences

An aerial view of the Taj Mahal alias Tejo Mahalaya, ancient Hindu temple complex in Agra. For the last 300 years the world has been fooled to believe that this stupendous edifice was built by the 5th generation Mogul emperor Shahjahan to commemorate one of his dead wives--Mumtaz. The two flanking buildings although identical, only the one in the rear is known as a mosque.
The Taj Mahal has seven stories. Five of them lie sealed and barred concealing rich evidence. The marble building in the centre is flanked by two symmetrical ones. The one in the foreground is the eastern one. The one in the background is being represented as a mosque because it is to the west. They should not have been identical if only one was to be a mosque. In the courtyard at the foot of the eastern building is inlaid a full scale replica of the trident pinnacle [found at the top of the dome]. The tiny tower at the left near the western building, encloses a huge octagonal multi-storied well.

This is the massive octagonal well with palatial apartments along its seven stories. A royal staircase descends right down to the water level indicated by the tiny white patch showing the sun's reflection.
This was the traditional treasury well of the Hindu temple palace. Treasure chests used to be stacked in the lower stories. Accountants, cashiers and treasurers sat in the upper stories. Cheques called handies used to be issued from here. On being besieged, if the building had to be surrendered to the enemy, the treasure used to be pushed into the water for salvage later after recapture. For real research, water should be pumped out of this well to reveal the evidence that lies at the bottom. This well is inside a tower near the so-called mosque to the west of the marble Taj. Had the Taj been a mausoleum this octagonal multistoried well would have been superfluous.

A frontal view of the Taj Mahal alias Tejo Mahalaya in Agra. It is octagonal because the Hindus believe in 10 directions. The pinnacle pointing to the heaven and the foundation to the nether world, plus the eight surface directions make the 10 directions. Divinity and royalty are believed to hold sway in all those 10 directions. Hence in Hindu tradition, buildings connected with royalty and divinity must have some octagonal features or the buildings themselves should be octagonal. The two flanking cupolas (two others to the rear are not seen in this photo) are also identical. The towers at the four plinth corners served as watch towers during the day, and to hold lights at night. Hindu wedding altars and Satyanarayan worship altars invariably have such towers at corners. [Many other Hindu temples, such as those at Khajurao, also can be found to have four towers or temples, one at each corner of the temple foundation.] The lotus flower cap on the head of the dome is a Hindu feature. Muslim domes are bald. This marble edifice has four stories. Inside the dome is an 83 ft. high hall. The Taj has a double dome. The dome one sees from inside ends like an inverted pan on the terrace. The dome seen from outside is a cover on the inner dome. Therefore, in between them is an 83 ft. hall. This may be considered as one storey. Underneath may be seen the first storey arches and the ground floor rooms. In the basement, visitors are shown one room. All these constitute the four storeys in the marble edifice. Below the marble structure are two stories in red stone reaching down to the river level. The 7thstorey must be below the river level because every ancient Hindu historic building did have a basement. Thus, the Taj is a seven-storied structure.

The dome of the Taj Mahal bearing a trident pinnacle made of a non-rusting eight-metal Hindu alloy. The pinnacle served as a lightning deflector too. This pinnacle has been blindly assumed by many to be an Islamic crescent and star, or a lightning conductor installed by the British. This is a measure of the careless manner in which Indian history has been studied till now. Visually identifiable things like this pinnacle too have been misinterpreted with impunity. The flower top of the dome, below the pinnacle, is an unmistakable Hindu sign. A full scale figure of this pinnacle is inlaid in the eastern courtyard.

A close up of the upper portion of the pinnacle of the Taj Mahal, photographed from the parapet beneath the dome. The Hindu horizontal crescent and the coconut top together look like a trident from the garden level. Islamic crescents are always oblique. Moreover they are almost always complete circles leaving a little opening for a star. This Hindu pinnacle had all these centuries been misinterpreted as an Islamic crescent and star or a lightning conductor installed by the British. The word "Allah" etched here by Shahjahan is absent in the courtyard replica. The coconut, the bent mango leaves under it and the supporting Kalash (water pot) are exclusive Hindu motifs.

The full scale figure of the pinnacle on the dome has been inlaid on the red stone courtyard of the Taj Mahal. One may see it to the east at the foot of the riverside arch of the flanking building wrongly dubbed as Jamiat Khana (community hall) by Muslim usurpers. Such floor sketches in courtyards are a common Hindu trait. In Fatehpur Sikri it is the backgammon board which is sketched on a central courtyard. The coconut top and the bent mango leaves underneath, resting on a kalash (i.e. a water pot) is a sacred Hindu motif. Hindu shrines in the Himalayan foothills have identical pinnacles [especially noticed at Kedarnath, a prominent Shiva temple]. The eastern location of the sketch is also typically Hindu. The length measures almost 32 ft.

The apex of the lofty entrance arch on all four sides of the Taj Mahal bears this red lotus and white trident--indicating that the building originated as a Hindu temple. The Koranic lettering forming the middle strip was grafted after Shahjahan seized the building from Jaipur state's Hindu ruler.

This is a riverside view of the Taj Mahal. The four storied marble structure above has under it these two stories reaching down to the river level. The 22 rooms shown in other photos are behind that line of arches seen in the middle. Each arch is flanked by Hindu lotus discs in white marble. Just above the ground level is the plinth. In the left corner of the plinth is a doorway indicating inside the plinth are many rooms sealed by Shahjahan. One could step out to the river bank from the door at the left. The 7th storey is surmised to be under the plinth below the ground because every ancient Hindu mansion had a basement. Excavation to reach the basement chamber should start under this door.

Most people content to see Mumtaz's grave inside the Taj fail to go to the rear riverside. This is the riverside view. From here one may notice that the four-storied marble structure on top has below it two more stories in red stone. Note the window aperture in the arch at the left. That indicates that there are rooms inside. Inside the row of arches in the upper part of the wall are 22 rooms. In addition to the four stories in marble, this one shows red stone arches in the 5th storey. The 6th storey lies in the plinth in the lower portion of the photo. In another photo a doorway would be seen in the left corner of the plinth, indicating the presence of apartments inside, from where one could emerge on the river for a bath.

These corridors at the approach of the Taj Mahal are typically Hindu. They may be seen in any ancient Hindu capital. Note the two octagonal tower cupolas at the right and left top. Only Hindus have special names for the eight directions and celestial guards assigned to each. Any octagonal feature in historic buildings should convince the visitor of their Hindu origin. Guards, palanquin bearers and other attendants resided in hundreds of rooms along numerous such corridors when the Taj Mahal was a Hindu temple palace. Thus the Taj was more magnificent and majestic before it was reduced to a sombre Islamic cemetery.

This Naqqar Khana alias Music House in the Taj Mahal garden is an incongruity if the Taj Mahal were an Islamic tomb. Close by on the right is the building which Muslims claim to be a mosque. The proximity of a mosque to the Music House is incongruous with Muslim tradition. In India, Muslims have a tradition of pelting stones on Hindu music processions passing over a mosque. Moreover a mausoleum needs silence. A dead person's repose is never to be disturbed. Who would then provide a band house for a dead Mumtaz? Contrarily Hindu temples and palaces have a music house because morning and evening Hindu chores begin to the sweet strains of sacred music.

Such are the rooms on the 1st floor of the marble structure of the Taj Mahal. The two staircases leading to this upper floor are kept locked and barred since Shahjahan's time. The floor and the marble walls of such upper floor rooms can be seen in the picture to have been stripped of its marble panels. Shahjahan used that uprooted marble from the upper floor for constructing graves and engraving the Koran because he did not know wherefrom to procure marble matching the splendour of the rest of the Taj Mahal. He was also so stingy as not to want to spend much even on converting a robbed Hindu temple into an Islamic mausoleum.

Such are the magnificent marble-paved, shining, cool, white bright rooms of the Taj Mahal temple palace's marble ground floor. Even the lower third portion of the walls is covered with magnificent marble mosaic. The doorway at the left looks suspiciously closed with a stone slab. One can perambulate through these rooms around the central octagonal sanctorum, now occupied by Mumtaz's fake grave. The aperture, seen through of the central door, enabled perambulating devotees to keep their eyes fixed on the Shiva Linga in the central chamber. Hindu Shiva Lingas are consecrated in two chambers, one above the other. Therefore, Shahjahan had to raise two graves in the name of Mumtaz--one in the marble basement and the other on the ground floor to desecrate and hide both the Shiva emblems from public view. [The famous Shiva temple in Ujjain also has an underground chamber for one of its Shiva-lingams.]

This is the Dhatura flower essential for Hindu Shiva worship. The flower is depicted in the shape of the sacred, esoteric Hindu incantation 'OM.' Embossed designs of this blooming 'OM' are drawn over the exterior of the octagonal central sanctorum of Shiva where now a fake grave in Mumtaz's has been planted. While perambulating around the central chamber one may see such 'OM' designs.

This staircase and another symmetrical one at the other end lead down to the storey beneath the marble platform. Visitors may go to the back of the marble plinth at the eastern or western end and descend down the staircase because it is open to the sky. But at the foot the archaeology department has set up an iron door which it keeps locked. Yet one may peep inside from the iron gate in the upper part of the door. Shahjahan had sealed even these two staircases. It was the British who opened them. But from Shahjahan's time the stories below and above the marble ground floor have been barred to visitors. We are still following Mogul dictates though long free from Mogul rule.

On the inner flank of the 22 locked rooms (in the secret storey in red stone below the marble platform) is this corridor about 12 ft. broad and 300 ft. long. Note the scallop design at the base of the plinth supporting the arches. This is the Hindu decoration which enables one to identify even a bare plinth.

One of the 22 rooms in the secret storey underneath the marble plinth of the Taj Mahal. Many such features of the Taj remain unknown to the public so long as they see it only as a tomb. If the public knew how much it is missing in the Taj Mahal it will insist that the government unseal its many stories. Two doorways at either end of this corridor in the right side wall leading to inner apartments have been sealed by Shahjahan. If those doorways are opened, important evidence concealed inside by Shahjahan may come to light.

A corner of one of the 22 rooms in the secret storey immediately below the marble platform of the Taj Mahal. Note the strips of Hindu paint on the wall. The ventilator at the left, meant for air and light from the riverside, has been crudely walled up by Shahjahan. He did not bother even to plaster them. Had Shahjahan built the Taj as a mausoleum what was the purpose of the 22 rooms? And why are they kept locked and hidden from the public?

One of the 22 locked rooms in the secret storey beneath the marble platform of the Taj Mahal. Strips of ancient Hindu paint are seen on the wall flanking the doorway. The niches above had paintings of Hindu idols, obviously rubbed off by Muslim desecraters. The rooms may be seen door within door in a row. If the public knew that the Taj Mahal is a structure hiding hundreds of rooms, they would insist on seeing the whole of it. At present they only peep into the grave chamber and walk away.

This esoteric Hindu design is painted on the ceiling of some of the 22 locked rooms in the secret storey below the marble platform of the Taj Mahal in Agra. Had Shahjahan built the Taj Mahal he would not have kept such elaborately painted rooms sealed and barred to the public. Even now one can enter these rooms only if one can influence the archaeology department to remove the locks.

A huge ventilator of one of the 22 rooms in a secret storey of the Taj, is seen here crudely sealed with unplastered bricks by Shahjahan. History has been so perverted and inverted that alien Muslims like Shahjahan who spoiled, damaged, desecrated and destroyed historic Hindu buildings, are being falsely paraded as great builders.

One of the 22 riverside rooms in a secret storey of the Taj Mahal, unknown to the public. Shahjahan, far from building the shining marble Taj, wantonly disfigured it. Here he has crudely walled up a doorway. Such imperial Mogul vandalism lies hidden from the public. This room is in the red stone storey immediately below the marble platform. Indian history has been turned topsy turvy in lauding destroyers as great builders.

Many such doorways of chambers in secret stories underneath the Taj Mahal have been sealed with brick and lime. Concealed inside could be valuable evidence such as Sanskrit inscriptions, Hindu idols, the original Hindu model of the Taj, the desecrated Shiva Linga, Hindu scriptures and temple equipment. Besides such sealed chambers there are many which are kept locked by the Government. The Public must raise its voice to have these opened or it should institute legal proceedings. Shree P. N. Sharma of Green Park, New Delhi who peeped through an aperture in these chambers in 1934 A.D. saw a pillared hall with images carved on the pillars.

Burharpur is a very ancient historic city on the Central Railway between Khandwa and Bhusawal junctions. Burhanpur and the nearby Asirgarh (fort) used to provide hospitality to Hindu royals proceeding north or south on pilgrimage, weddings or military expeditions. Barhanpur has many magnificent mansions which are currently being described as mosques and tombs of alien Islamic invaders. This building is one such ancient Hindu royal palace captured by the Moghuls. Mumtaz died here during her 14th delivery around 1630 A.D. while she and Shahjahan were camping here. She is said to be buried in a Hindu pavilion in front of this palace.

Mumtaz is supposed to be buried in this garden pavilion of the ancient Hindu palace (Ahu Mahal) 600 miles from Agra, in Burhanpur. Another version says that Mumtaz's corpse was kept here exposed to sun, rain, and wild beasts for six months. The date of her death, the date of her removal from Burhanpur to Agra, and the date of her assumed burial in the Taj Mahal are all unknown because the entire Taj Mahal-Mumtaz legend is a concoction from the beginning to end. [Mumtaz was only one of several hundred wives and women that Shahjahan kept in his harem.]

In a detail on the gate, we can see two elephant’s trunks, one on either side of the design, which would indicate Ganesh.

Inverted water-pots on top. Their number is always odd, 11 in this case, typical of the Vedic system. Notice also the cobra design in pairs below the gallery. Koranic inscriptions were a graffiti added by Shahjahan.

Wall decorations as we see here are typical Rajput style. There is also a balcony at first floor level.

Note the Trident within the lotus form at the apex. Both of which are Vedic references, the trident being connected with Lord Shiva.

The Veranda on the west side of the Entrance Gate. It was probably for public assemblies, discussions, teaching or chanting of Mantras.

Now you can see the "3" figure of the OM design within the carved marble flower, a definite Vedic design.

Conch shell decorations in marble carving next to the ventilation grill.

We are now outside the Cenotaph Chamber. Note how the steps in plain marble break up the designs on the plinth wall. This means that they are not original.

The Cenotaph chamber with marble screen. The point is why have an octagonal screen around two graves? It is more likely to have been an area of where sacred activities once took place.

Replica of the pinnacle design of the top of the main dome as found in the garden.

An early photo of Taj from the riverside clearly showing 2 levels of hidden basements. Vincent Smith published this photo in his book "History of Fine Art in India and Ceylon", in 1911. The earliest we find such photo was in 1844 in Sleeman’s book – "Rambles and Recollections of an Indian Official". And yet no historian has ever been curious to go inside these basements.

Blue print of the Taj Mahal showing cross-section of Central Edifice in a book by J Fergusson in 1855. It clearly shows the hidden basements.

Here you can see, not far from the plinth of the Taj, the stairway that goes down to the 22 rooms. It is surrounded by the red sandstone railing.

Entrance to lower basement floor that is now bricked up.

The timber door before it was sealed up with bricks. In 1974 American Professor Marvin Mills took a sample from this door for Carbon dating and concluded that the Taj Mahal pre-dates Shahjahan. After this revelation, the Government of India removed the timber doors and the openings were bricked up, as shown in the previous photo.

Here is a typical tower (Burj) that is in familiar Rajput style, not Islamic in any way.

Stones for anchoring boats. On the North side of the Taj Mahal, there is a platform 3 ft 6 inches wide and it runs for the entire length. The platform also has embedded into it several stone rings for anchoring boats. In the photo we can see two such stones, one in the lower right front corner, the other further up the stream. This shows that the building was planned for facilitating boats for river transportation for the residents in the Taj. Again, these are not something you would need for a quiet or even vacant grave site. ALSO NOTE THE DESIGN.

Here is a copy of a page of the Badshahnama, the history of Shah Jahan, the so-called builder of the Taj Mahal. This is from the Government of India's National Archives, and available from the instituional libraries dealing with the medieval history of India.
This is supposed to have been written by the emperor's chronicler, the Mullah Abdul Hamid Lahori. It describes the site of the Taj Mahal as being full of majestic and lush gardens just south of the city (Agra). It goes on to say that the palace of Raja Mansingh, which was owned by his grandson Raja Jaisingh, was selected as the place for the burial of the queen Mumtaz. This means, of course, that Shah Jahan never built the Taj Mahal but only acquired it from the previous owner, who was Jaisingh.
